VDC Awarded $1M US Navy Flight Simulation Contract with Additional $1M Option

Video Display Corporation (OTC:VIDE), a world-class supplier of simulation solutions, display systems, displays and display components, as well as TEMPEST products and services today announced the award of a simulation contract worth approximately $1M with the US Navy for visual display systems with an additional $1M option at its Cocoa, FL facility.

The contract involves the design and installation of visuals for multiple flight simulators that include the domes, projection systems, and warping and blending solution. System delivery is expected to be completed before the end of 2021. The Navy has an option for additional visual display systems worth approximately $1M that is expected to be exercised within the next 6 months.

In addition to dome simulators, VDC also designs and installs multifaceted display visuals for flight simulators, having recently just completed an installation of a multifaceted simulator in Europe with another installation in Europe scheduled for July 2021.
