VDC is introducing a new line of Rugged Products which include Flat Panel Displays, Workstations & Servers, and Keyboards specifically designed for Defense, Marine, and Industrial applications and use. VDC is a Designer, Manufacturer, and Service Provider with 30+ years of experience in mechanical, electrical on-site engineering design, in-house assembly, test, and customer service with a ISO 9001:2015 certification.
These new products are robustly designed for the extreme shipboard, airborne, and ground mobile military environments specifically MIL-DTL-901E, MIL-STD-167-1A, MIL-STD-810G, and MIL-STD-461F requirements. Custom and tailored to meet products can also be derived from these standard products to meet any form, fit, and function need that may be necessary.
The VDC rugged displays are delivered as stand-alone units (wall or desktop VESA mounted) or with a EIA RS310 rack/panel mount interface (suitable for console mounting as well). Designed around an aluminum chassis, they are built to survive harsh conditions and are perfectly suited for Navy, Air Force, Army or other demanding applications that require reliable components to achieve critical operations.
The panel mount versions are typically selected for console type applications such as multi-function consoles for combat systems, machinery control systems, ground control stations, naval bridge and command and control stations and operator consoles.
A large variety of options is available on all models, such as: power input, touch sensors, video inputs, NVIS, high bright, custom mechanical and electrical interfaces, color, etc. Various configurations are also proposed to meet the environmental performances required on each project. Designed and built with highly reliable grade OEM components, these products have a minimum typical life cycle of 3-5 years with 10-15 years of useful service life.
VDC also provides form fit function replacement solutions of obsolete third party products including repair services for these third party products as well.
